Obituary of John Paul Watson

John Paul Watson, 61, died October 3, 2020, with his family by his side in Charlotte, NC. He was born to parents Joe Adams Watson and Helen Lee Armstrong Watson, on December 31, 1958, in Charlotte, NC.

He attended Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC, and was a skillful machinist for over 30 years. He was passionate about music and was a talented guitarist, playing in bands throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joe and Helen Watson, and former wife, Tina Watson. He is survived by fiancé, Diane Marsh; daughter, Jennifer Watson; son, Justin Watson; step-daughter, Kerissa Gibson; step-son, Patrick Gibson; sister, Susan Watson; former wife and mother of his children, Catherine Morris; and his sweet, beloved dog, Maggie.
