My mother and Helen became friends through their work with recovery programs. I came to know Helen when we would take periodicals to her so that she could distribute them to others. I remember seeing her working along the edge of her driveway planting flowers in the springtime and caring for her house and yard throughout the year. She was so pleasant and welcoming and a joy to talk with.
Some people can come into your life for a few moments still you will remember them always. My mother Carolyn Snipes and I, Martha Hash send our most sincere condolences to Helen's family and friends.

My sincere condolences to the Burn and recovery family. We’ve lost a gem. Helen and I were on the prayer team together at Serenity Church of Charlotte. She was always there and ready to serve. Peace I pray. Shalom. Love Donnetta
