Obituary of Floyd Howard Lambert

Floyd “Toni” Howard Lambert went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 24, 2022. At the age of 87, he was a man who had lived his life to the fullest. Toni served in the military for 2 years as a SP3, US Army, recipient of the Army of occupancy (Germany) and Good Conduct medals, honorably discharged June 1956. He worked at Pneumafil Corporation for 35 years and retired in1991 at the age of 57. Additionally, he was Elder Emeritus – Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Floyd “Toni” was the son of Arthur and LeLona Lambert - Sister Helen L. Roberts, and Brother Arthur Lee Lambert all pre-deceased. His greatest loves were his wife, Greta Helms Lambert of 67 years and his children; son: Marty (wife Penny), Daughter: Pam (husband Richard), Daughter: Dawn, 3 grandchildren (Jeremy (wife Kelly), Tiffany (husband Travis), Crystal; (husband Lee) and 8 grandchildren: Eva, Eli, Kaylee, Noah, Carson, Michaela, Dante Josh, Katie, and Ethan. And, of course the frequent trips fishing Santee Cooper, the Outerbanks, all with the family, friends and great groups from the church. A celebration of Toni’s life will be held at Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 9401 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28273 on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at 11:00am, VISITATION will be in the Sanctuary at 10:00am, before the service.
