Obituary of Richard Parks Boyd

Richard Parks Boyd Jr., 65, passed away August 12, 2022. Rick, born in 1956, was a proud Charlottean. He was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Boyd. Rick was employed by Reedy Chemicals Foam for the last six years, and previously owned Southern Plastics Equipment. He had a strong passion for sales. Rick enjoyed spending time at Holden Beach, cheering on the Carolina Panthers, and spending time with his daughters. Rick was full of humor and was always making others laugh. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Kathy Curtis, and his brother David Boyd. Rick is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ann Boyd and Emily Rose Boyd, as well as by many other family and friends.
