Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Clark

Elizabeth Ann Clark, 93, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was predeceased by her grandparents influential in her life Mr. and Mrs. Peter J and McCarthy, her brothers Aurthur Doyle and Thomas Doyle. In addition, she is predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 53 years, R. Patrick Clark. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Colleen A Shea.

Graduate of University of Cincinnati, Elizabeth relished her retail/ window design early career with Shilato’s department store. she continued to channel her creativity by sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, and decorating, Relocating to Charlotte in 1970, she was active member and often leader of Investors Club, Saint Gabriel’s Woman’s Club, Governors Suare Garden Club to name a few. Elizabeth, also known as “Betty”, never met a stranger and always enjoyed conversation.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:000 AM (EST) Thursday, April 13, 2023, in the chapel at Saint Gabriel’s Church, 3016 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be given to American Heart Association, www.heart.org/donate or St Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.

Elizabeth’s family would like to give special thanks to Unlimited Possibilities group home staff who provided her with the best care during her last time with us.
