Don, Happy Birthday. Today is Sunday, October 1, 2017 you are 59 years old. Son before you left me I was thinking about your birthday gift, what I could give you. Now I know you have gotten the best gift anybody could give you. Your gift today is your heavenly father home. You are there. What a gift son, I could never given such a gift!
The closest I can get to you now is just talk to you. I miss your call this morning waking me us for church. You know I loved you, but to see so many others who loved you assured me you did the right thing from your teaching. First, you connected to the Lord and went about being one of Jesus disciple while here on this earth. You fed the hungry; you took in the homeless. Money meant nothing to you if you had to help somebody. You always knew I had your back (SMILE). You were the greatest husband to Loraine and father to Tina, Ollie, and Elizabeth. You moved quietly, but you got the job done in your Education and did what it took to support your family. Don, you never complain about your heart failure or whatever was going on in your life you took like a man. I knew you had a personal relationship with the Lord. Son, when I found you September 14th, it was very very hard on me to see. I knew I couldn't keep you any longer. God had spoken; you had to leave me to go to your heavenly home. The home one day I must go and I will see you again. He made us and I believe his words, it will be our permanent home where Jesus is saying, "Welcome Don"! There will be no more sickness, no more heartaches, no more medicines and no more trouble of the world. He will say, you good and faithful son you stood the test. "Welcome, Welcome Home"! I THANK GOD FOR THE TIME I HAD. Don my beloved son, I ask only one thing son, look over me from above until we meet again. YOUR MOTHER, CHRISTINE CHISHOLM CARELOCK
